Vey & Associés

Counsel

A member of the Paris Bar, Christine Méjean practices in white-collar criminal law, compliance, and internal investigations. She joined the team to strengthen our expertise in these areas.

Since 2011, Christine has been advising French companies, both public and private, as well as international companies and senior executives, particularly in the conduct of internal investigations and in the design, assessment, and implementation of prevention frameworks and compliance programs. She also acts in the context of criminal and regulatory proceedings in economic and financial matters.

Christine has a dual legal and financial background, with experience both in-house and in advisory roles. Before becoming a lawyer, she first worked in investment banking specializing in small and mid-cap companies, then as a financial engineer, notably within the finance department of Orange.

She subsequently practiced as a lawyer in general criminal law and white-collar criminal law at the firm Metzner Associés, before developing an independent practice focused in particular on advisory work and the coordination of expert input within multidisciplinary teams.

This experience underpins an integrated approach to matters, attentive to legal and reputational issues as well as to the economic and organizational realities of companies. Christine is actively involved in the legal profession and is the co-founder and president of a national association dedicated to women lawyers.
