Vey & Associés at the International Seminar on Extradition and the European Arrest Warrant – Sarnico (Lake Iseo, Italy)

Retour aux actualités

Vey & Associés was delighted to participate once again in the International Seminar on Extradition and the European Arrest Warrant, bringing together an outstanding panel of academics, judges, prosecutors and leading practitioners from around the world.

Beyond the high quality of the presentations, the true value of this seminar lies in the remarkable diversity of legal systems, professional backgrounds and perspectives represented. Through collaborative discussions and working sessions, in which Virginie Lemarié-Faure once again played an active role this year, participants examined a range of key topics, including Interpol Red Notices, the Petruhhin doctrine, diplomatic assurances, and extradition procedures in a variety of jurisdictions, including the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Ukraine and Kosovo. These exchanges provided an invaluable opportunity to compare approaches, share best practices and defence strategies, and deepen the collective understanding of the challenges surrounding international criminal cooperation.

We extend our sincere thanks to Stefano Maffei and Thomas Wahl for organising this leading event, whose exceptional academic and practical programme continues to shape developments in extradition law and cross-border judicial cooperation, as well as for the unique atmosphere of collegiality that characterises the seminar each year.

Our participation reflects Vey & Associés’ ongoing commitment to this highly specialised field and enables us to provide our clients with advice grounded in an up-to-date understanding of international practice and supported by a strong network of specialist practitioners worldwide.
